IMD warns of continued snow and rain across Uttarakhand, Himachal, Punjab: travel disruptions expected

A recent forecast from the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has suggested continued snowfall and rain across several northern states, including Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Punjab, among others. The weather disruption is due to a western disturbance. It has also triggered snowfall in the hilly regions of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir. As per IMD, Rainfall is expected in Punjab and Rajasthan.
The IMD has issued an orange alert, advising people to stay alert.
