Chandigarh witnessed an evening of elegance and empowerment as Tanishq, Sector 17, hosted its first-ever beauty pageant on 28th February — a dazzling celebration of confidence, individuality and timeless grace. In a first-of-its-kind initiative by the iconic jewellery brand, 16 women customers took center stage, proving that beauty transcends age, background and convention.

The participants, ranging from just 14 years to an inspiring 65 years, brought with them stories, strength and sparkle. The event unfolded in two engaging rounds. The first was a vibrant ramp walk and introduction round, where each participant walked the stage adorned in exquisite Tanishq jewellery, radiating poise and personality. The second and final round was an interactive question-and-answer session, allowing contestants to express their thoughts, values and aspirations — a true test of confidence and clarity.

The evening was graced by a distinguished panel of judges:

The event was the brainchild of Franchisee Nidhi Kapoor, who envisions this pageant becoming an annual signature celebration during Tanishq’s much-awaited Festival of Diamonds. Her plan is to scale it bigger and better each year, turning it into a landmark occasion that Chandigarh residents eagerly anticipate — a celebration not just of beauty, but of confidence, community and contemporary womanhood.

Every participant shone brightly in Tanishq’s exquisite collections, redefining glamour with authenticity and grace. The store team’s meticulous planning and seamless execution ensured the evening flowed flawlessly, creating an atmosphere that was both luxurious and warmly inclusive.
